Sparrow Street: A typical suburban neighborhood is plunged into a nightmare as an invisible, monstrous force begins picking the neighbors off, one by one. The terror outside the house is no match to the terror that forms inside the house where survival, isolation, and hunger all play tricks of the mind for a man, an expectant wife, and their unborn child. The film begs the big question and the great reveal – What happened on Sparrow Street and what is eating the neighbors?
“We wanted to scare the heck out of audiences by fusing environmentalism and horror in a completely ridiculous and unseemly way. We think we did that with Sparrow Street. It is a film like none other ever made. Think about the idea of an environmental horror – the time is rife for this kind of emerging idea. That’s the story we are telling. Mankind vs. Nature in a completely original, unique, and distinctive point-of-view. Our hope…blow the minds of our audiences. Leave them reeling with thought and meaning. That’s ultimately why we made this film.”
The film has screened at six international film festivals and one national festival so far. It has won two international awards for Best Horror Feature Film, two awards for Exceptional Merit (one international and one national) and is currently a Semi-Finalist at an international festival in Nice, France.
What We Don’t See: In the wake of a domestic assault charge, Tristan’s self-isolating recovery is interrupted by an otherworldly force that tries to creep into his mind… and his house. This film is currently being edited.
Little Garage: Billy Jack and Justin have joined forces with Cedar Moon Studio’s “Little Garage” – a short film that explores themes of domestic violence, silence, and retribution. Cedar Moon Studios', Little Garage, tackles the subject of sexual assault with a mix of humor and seriousness. Through the main character, Haley's, use of deflection through comedy, a fusion of comedy and drama is achieved without trivializing a difficult topic. Billy Jack and Justin served as co-producers on the project with Sparrow Street Films’ regular actor Hannah Finnegan, the film’s writer, producer, and executive producer.
